HONG KONG FUTURE TALENTS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR ADVANCED STUDIES (FTSS)
As announced in the 2024 Policy Address, the Hong Kong Government has established the Hong Kong Future Talents Scholarship Scheme for Advanced Studies (FTSS) to attract outstanding local students pursuing further education in areas of strategic importance for Hong Kong’s development.
We are honored to announce that the HKUST-NYU Stern Master of Science in Global Finance (MSGF) program has been selected by the University Grants Committee (UGC) as an eligible program for the FTSS scholarship. 2. Scholarships will be awarded based on merit, considering the following factors:
- Academic achievements
- Professional qualifications
- Relevant working experience and achievements in other areas
- Commitment to contributing to the priority area(s), joining relevant industries/sectors, and remaining in Hong Kong (or the Greater Bay Area) post-graduation.
3. Applicants who have previously received a scholarship under the Targeted Taught Postgraduate Programmes Fellowships Scheme (TPgFS) or the FTSS will not be considered.
